The learner can:
- Identify pictures or examples of food and water that animals need to stay healthy
- Match at least two animals to their correct type of food or diet using real items, pictures, or symbols
- With support, talk about or point to what animals need every day to stay healthy (e.g. food, water, clean space)
- With support, gather feeding equipment and food for a chosen animal
- Assist with feeding the animal safely, following instructions
- Help clean up after feeding and return equipment to the correct place
