Assessment criteria

The learner can:
- Read a chronological text of around 100 words
- Order three events from the text chronologically
- Read a chronological event with around 100 words
- Identify the key event in the text
- Answer four questions about the text they have read including what happened first and last
- Demonstrate understanding of the written instructions by following them to complete a physical task (e.g. making a simple snack, instructions to build a model, or directions to reach a location)
