The learner can:

  • Identify harmful items from pictures or real-life examples by taking part in a sorting activity: safe vs. harmful items, and matching items to warning symbols
  • Explain why some items are dangerous (e.g., “It can make you sick” or “It can hurt you”)
  • Participate in group discussion using simple scenarios
  • Use symbol-supported flashcards to explain risks
  • Participate in a discussion about what to do if they find something harmful (e.g., tell an adult, don’t touch)
  • Participate in structured role-play: “What would you do?” situations
