- Identify specialised clothing that is needed for the swimming activity e.g. swimsuit, swimming cap, goggles
- Identify any equipment or belongings that may also be needed either during or after the activity e.g. towel, money, sports bag, buoyancy aid, toiletries, brush/comb
- Enter an individual cubicle / area ensure privacy
- Remove day clothes and put on swimwear
- Place all belongings into a locker or other secure area
