The learner can:
- Collect and check that shaver is ready for use e.g. fully charged or power lead included
- Select an appropriate place for the shave to be carried out safely
- Layout the shaving equipment required and check mirror height
- Prepare the shaver for use e.g. plug into shaver socket if mains powered, remove any safety covers, switch on
- Safely use the shaver to shave the face and neck areas
- Turn off shaver and disconnect from power if appropriate
- Rinse face and neck with clean warm water and dry
