The learner will:

  • 1 .  

    Be able to identify a trampoline and show how to access and dismount it safely.

  • 2 .  

    Be able to state safety rules and appropriate clothing to be worn, when using and observing a trampoline.

Assessment criteria

(What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome)

The learner can:

  • Identify a trampoline from other sports equipment.
  • Show they understand one safety rule when accessing a trampoline.
  • Show they understand one safety rule when dismounting a trampoline.
  • Show they know at least two safety rules that must be followed when using a trampoline or watching someone else on a trampoline e.g. the need to be supervised at all times, no two persons are allowed on the trampoline unless one is a qualified coach.            
  • Demonstrate appropriate clothing to be worn whilst trampolining.
