- Share personal information such as their name, age and what school/college they attend
- Share at least one interest/hobby they have with the group and identify if any other group members share the same interest/hobby
- Answer any questions they are asked by other group members
- Ask at least one question to another group member to find out more about them
- Ask specific questions e.g "what is your favourite sport?" or "do you have any siblings?" to other group members
- Record responses to the questions asked to indicate group members who have common factors with them
- Identify a group member of whom they have the most common interests with
