- Follow the order of the recipe, adding ingredients at the appropriate time
- Ensure that their hands are clean before and after preparing the coronation chickpea
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitised ahead of preparing the recipe
- Ensure that they have set up in an appropriate area of the kitchen
- Ensure that if any mixture leaves the bowl or falls on the floor, that they follow the appropriate health and hygiene rules
- Ensure they are adhering to any other health and safety and health and hygiene rules as set by the kitchen supervisor
