Assessment criteria

(What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome)

The learner can:

  • Create a list of five things a friend can do that are positive
  • Name a friend and describe two positive behaviours they have show
  • State three ways a friend maintains a good friendship e.g. by saying sorry, being honest, including others
  • Listen to simple scenarios and decide if each situation is fair, explaining who is being included or excluded
  • Sort word/actions in to this is inclusive or exclusive behaviour
  • Share how they would feel if they were excluded
  • Share how they would feel if they were included
  • Role play, the body language or words they may use, to show they don’t wan to join in with a game e.g. saying ‘no’ or ‘stop’
  • State how they can respect a boundary, e.g. by listening when someone asks them to stop,
  • Make a simple list of things they can say if they feel worried or upset, (e.g. calming strategies, distraction etc)
  • Identifying one person they could talk to for support
