The learner can:
- Research using the internet or books to find design ideas for small spaces
- Create an annotated drawing, collage, or mood board showing examples of materials, colours, furniture ideas, and layouts that could suit a Borrower-sized room
- Choose one of the designs to focus on from their previous mood boards
- Sketch a Borrower-sized bedroom design with clear annotations explaining material choices and design decisions
- Use recycled or found materials to construct a 3D miniature model of the bedroom, this can be to scale or actual size
