The learner can:
- Participate in a discussion to identify at least three examples of rules or laws in the community (e.g. crossing at traffic lights, not littering, wearing a seatbelt)
- Match pictures of community rules to their written descriptions
- Go on a local walk and take photos or draw pictures of signs or rules seen in the community
- Explain in simple terms why rules and laws are important (e.g. 'Rules help keep people safe')
- Participate in group discussion about what would happen if there were no rules
