The learner can:

  • Identify through discussion at least three rules or laws relevant to their daily life
  • Create a poster showing rules at school, in the community, or on the road
  • Match pictures of rules (e.g. no littering, wearing a seatbelt) to their settings


  • Describe at least two possible consequences of breaking a rule or law
  • Discuss what might happen if someone breaks a rule (e.g. detention, fine, injury)
  • Use a cause-and-effect worksheet to link actions to consequences
