    Be able to experience hearing and identifying familiar sounds in different locations.

    Be able to experience vibrations made by sounds.

Assessment criteria

(What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome)

The learner can:

  • Take part in activities to hear and identify familiar sounds, with spoken, symbol or signing support, eg listening walks, sound lotto, different instruments being played.

 

  • With support, see or feel objects vibrate as sounds are made, eg watch a guitar string vibrate, see rice bounce on a drum when it is hit, feel own voice box vibrate as  vocalisation is made.
