- recognise and state days of the week or use symbols to show understanding of the day asked for by an appropriate adult
- use words or symbols to correctly order the days of the week
- produce a simple timetable showing 7 main events in their week (one for each day)
- state the months of the year
- use words or symbols to correctly order the months of the year
- produce a simple calendar showing their own and their groups birthdays (4 dates in total), when the dates are given to them
- state, on 3 occasions, how many weeks until a given event e.g. their birthday using their calendar
