  • Identify the different playing positions e.g. bowling, batting, fielding
  • Identify the basic sequence of events e.g. bowler bowls to the batsman, batsman attempts to hit the ball, if successful runs, fielders retrieve the ball
  • State three ways a batsman can be out
  • Explain where the bowler must bowl from and what is a fair bowl
  • Explain how runs can be scored
  • Explain how a team wins
