The learner can:

  • Label (using words or symbols) at least three images of local health facilities e.g. doctors surgery, hospital, opticians, pharmacy
  • Match at least three descriptions to the job roles of people who help them to keep healthy
  • Use a phone number list to find the number of a local health provider e.g. optician, dentist, doctor 
  • Dial the number and take turns in a phone conversation about making an appointment
  • Measure the height of two people, with appropriate support
  • Use a thermometer to measure someone's temperature, with appropriate support
  • Measure your own weight, with appropriate support
