The learner can:
- Use a map with a key to find the location of a local hospital
- State the purpose of the following health facilities:
- doctors surgery
- optician
- pharmacy
- hospital
- Use the Internet to find the phone number for each of the above local health facilities
- Make an appointment with one of the above by dialling the correct number and communicating with the person on the other end of the phone
- Measure accurately to the nearest cm the height of two people
- Use a set of bathroom scales to weigh themselves and one other person
- Use a thermometer to measure someone's temperature
