  • Prepare a client for a colouring service and use the correct personal protective equipment
  • Prepare the work area for a colouring service, using the correct equipment and tools
  • Communicate with a client and behave in a professional manner
  • Position themself and client appropriately throughout service i.e. correct posture
  • Section hair ready for colour application
  • Mix the false colour (conditioner and flour) the correct consistency
  • Apply colour to client's roots and hair using neat sections
  • Remove the false colour from the hair and scalp
