- Demonstrate that they know how to follow the DRABC procedure in the event of an emergency
- Demonstrate they can check all five areas on at least two occasions: Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation
- Find an adult to help or use a phone by dialling 999
- Ask for help in the event of an emergency and give appropriate details to the emergency services
