- Identify an appropriate item of clothing to wear in three different types of weather e.g. sun hat when hot, gloves when cold, raincoat when raining
- Explore a variety of jobs that are done in their living space and choose three that they will complete e.g. washing the dishes, hoovering, polishing, tidying mess
- Make three simple items in the kitchen e.g. cup of tea, scrambled eggs, toast
- Identify two hygiene precautions to take when cooking e.g. clean surfaces, washing vegetables
- Demonstrate how to use two kitchen utensils safely e.g. knife, grater, scissors, hob
- Say why (in own way) it is important to wash hands before preparing food
