- Number the “dots” in a cell (one to six) correctly
- Recognise the difference between a raised dot (filled) and no dot (unfilled), in a Braille cell
- Produce a minimum of five unique letters in Braille successfully
- Use at least one method to produce alphabetic signs in Braille
