The learner can:
- Attend a trip to a library in the community
- Behave appropriately within a library, knowing that it is a place to be quiet
- Identify how the library is organised and compare to the one at school
- Read or point to the title of the book of their choosing from the library
- Read or point to the author of the book of their choosing from the library
- Name two different genres of books
- Find four books within the same genre to place together in order to sort the library
- State a reason why organising by genre is better than organising by reading level
- Name their favourite genre of book to read
