  • Locate braille text in an unfamiliar book or on a page and read the uncontracted braille text

    • Discriminate their own name from other names when reading

      • Produce written tasks on a Perkins or electronic brailler tasks using uncontracted alphabetic braille signs

        • Accurately produce punctuation (capital indicator, full stop and comma) in braille when writing
        • Identify punctuation (capital indicator, full stop and comma) in longer sentences when reading braille text
