The learner can:

  • Identify at least two oils from a set of labelled bottles with support
  • Match an oil to its picture or symbol card
  • Observe an animal being offered an oil and indicate whether the animal smelled it


  • Select an oil bottle when asked
  • Hold out or place the oil safely for the animal under supervision
  • Follow an adult’s guidance when offering oils to an animal
