    Apply their knowledge of money and time when planning or accessing transport and leisure facilities.

The learner can:

  • Read leaflets/web pages about transport links in the local community (e.g. bus service, train service) and leisure facilities in the local community (e.g. local leisure centre, community group etc) and communicate two pieces of information about each on what is available .
  • Use the Internet to find out the address and telephone number of at least one transport and one leisure facility.
  • On an least three occasions read times in quarter of an hour intervals when reading bus or train timetables.
  • On at least three occasions read times in quarter of an hour intervals when reading leisure timetables.
  • Read and state the cost of at least five different leisure activities.
