  • Identify which shop/s they will visit
  • Collect personal equipment needed for a shopping trip e.g. money, shopping bags, bank cards 
  • Follow instructions for going shopping
  • Locate a trolley or basket
  • Use signage to locate items
  • Make simple choices whilst shopping e.g. selecting an item from a group
  • Select items on the shopping list and put them in the trolley or basket
  • Use a self-checkout or till to pay for items
  • Exchange money for items
