  • Read a short extract about at least two different types of shops
  • Identify punctuation in the text eg full stops and question marks
  • Find a word in a simplified dictionary
  • Write a short description of each shop
  • Use capital letters appropriately eg for place names, proper nouns etc
  • Leave regular spaces between words
