The learner can:

  • Identify the dangers of electricity use using the following key words:
    • electrocution
    • insulation
    • conduction
    • fire faults
    • injury
    • burns
  • Construct a parallel circuit and a series circuit each with three bulbs and a switch
  • Record the brightness of the bulbs in each circuit
  • Conclude how the electrical voltage is used in each circuit
  • Use a voltmeter and ammeter to support their conclusions
