The learner can:

  • Watch  two different dance routines, explaining key elements of each dance, e.g. identifying how many people are dancing, the speed of the dance, the actions the people take etc
  • Give example of their favourite movement within each dance, e.g. I like it when they spin, jump, turn etc
  • Give two reason for warming up before taking part in a dance, e.g. to get my muscles ready, to get my heart beating faster, to keep my body safe
  • Name three different parts of their body that need warming up, legs, arms, ankles, neck, shoulders etc
  • Lead a warm up session ensuring they do exercises that warm up different parts of the body e.g arms, legs, neck, shoulders, feet etc
