The learner can:
- Make observations about different spring bulbs, (e.g. colour/ size)
- Find information about what plants will look like and how tall plants will grow from packaging and the Internet
- Find information about planting each type of bulb from the packaging
- Check the recommended time of year to plant bulbs
- Check bulbs for any damage
- Record the depth each bulb needs to be planted
- Measure and mark the depth each bulb needs to be planted on a cane
- Check they have the appropriate soil to plant the bulbs
- Check they have the appropriate container or designated area outside in which to plant bulbs
