The learner can:

  • Identify different types of materials that can be used for upcycling, such as wood or MDF and demonstrate the correct procedure to prepare and paint the project
  • State the reason for selecting this product and discuss their plans to upcycle 
  • Select the most suitable paint for their upcycling project, such as chalk, mineral or milk paint
  • Demonstrate the reason for their paint choice and that it's suitable to paint on their chosen project
