The learner can:
- Explain what ‘famous’ means and state three categories by which people might be famous (e.g. sports person, musician, politician, royalty, business person)
- Give at least two examples of famous people from each of the three categories
- Decide on a famous person to research and plan questions that they want to find answers to (e.g. place of birth, full name, date of birth, family history, favourite food etc)
- State two information sources to research a famous person (e.g. Internet, book or magazine, word of mouth, documentary)
- Research a famous person and make written notes on information they find out
