Assessment criteria
(What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome)
The learner can:
- State at least two different activities that could raise their heart rate eg running, sport, dancing, going on a roller coaster, skateboarding
- State at least two activities that are used to lower the heart rate eg calming activities, pilates, stretching, mindfulness, grounding, breathing deeply, watching TV
- Give at least two examples of interactions with other people that may increase their heart rate eg when somebody scares them, when they become angry with someone, when they are feeling excited around people
