The learner can:

  • Use a search engine to find lists of dog friendly foods
  • Explain why the sources they have used to verify the safety of foods are reliable
  • Create a batch of training treats, measuring and recording quantities of each ingredient as they go
  • Discuss with an appropriate person how the tester batch has turned out and any changes required
  • Make as many batches as required until a treat has been created which the learner is happy with
  • Demonstrate at cookery skills by making the dog treats
