The learner can:
- Install the iNaturalist app on their tablet or phone, or open the website (iNaturalist.org)
- Create a profile for themselves on the app or website
- Join the required project as set out by their centre
- Demonstrate understanding of the observation criteria used in the City Nature challenge by answering at least two questions
- Upload at least 20 suitable observations correctly to the app
