  • Carry out research into sustainable outdoor space ideas (e.g., online, books, local community gardens).Create a design plan or mood board for the outdoor area.

  • Identify the purpose of the space and who will use it.

  • Present your design to a peer group or mentor for feedback.

  • Research upcycling ideas using materials such as pallets, bottles, or crates.

  • Create at least two upcycled plant pots and one item of seating (e.g., a bench or chair).

  • Explain how upcycling supports environmental sustainability.
