The learner can:

  • Choose an animal or animals
  • Match two foods to an “animal friendly” symbol (e.g. carrot, apple) for the chosen animal/s
  • Show awareness of one food that is not safe for a specific animal


  • Observe or copy an adult mixing ingredients.
  • Take part in one simple action (e.g. stirring, pressing mixture into a mould).
